SWAC Committees

Do you want to get involed in your dhild's swim career? Do you want to get to know the other SWAC families? Or, do you have the skills that would increase the overall success of the SWAC organization? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, please volunteer to be on one of the following SWAC committees for the 2007-2008 season. If you have questions about any of these committees, please contact the Committee Chair or our Board President BP House.

Fundraising Committee - Jim Cook

Responsible for the fundraising activities. Includes grant writing, corporate sponsorhips, annual fundraising campaign, and the script program.

Competition Committee - Cyndy Bagan

Responsible for the coordination and management of all competitive meets. Includes concessions, volunteers, officials, meet packets, and hospitality room.

Spirit Committee - Kim Reber

Responsible for annual banquets, spirit wear, team parties, and other team activities to promote team spirit.

Membership Committee - Tom Herendeen

Responsible for member recruitment, retention, education, and registration.

Communication Committee - Dave Nowak

Responsible for SWAC marketing, website, e-mail communication, bulletin board, and press releases.

Nominating Committee

Responsible for soliciting recommendaitons of nominees for SWAC Officers or Directors of the corporation and investigating qualifications of the persons under consideration. Members of the Nominating Committee shall not nominate themselves.
